Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a facilities maintenance professional for the Winter Haven's Hospital location. This role covers upkeep of buildings, equipment and systems across a broad range of trades and includes a night shift from 11:00pm to 7:30am, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and providing guidance on projects. A High School diploma is required and a Florida Driver's License is necessary.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Comfort with performing preventive maintenance across building systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and repair buildings, equipment and systems throughout facilities.
• May install equipment as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics; perform general mechanical repairs.
• Provide indirect guidance and project-specific management to others.
• Perform preventive maintenance across trades including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and painting.
• May travel to other BCHS facilities for maintenance.
• May work varied shifts and weekends as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Status: Full Time | Time: 11:00pm-7:30am | Days: Monday - Friday

Location: Winter Haven's Hospital, [Winter Haven, FL]

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of buildings, equipment and systems throughout the assigned facilities.
• May also be required to install equipment.
• Must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics and perform general mechanical repairs. Responsible for providing indirect guidance to others and to provide project specific management to others.
• Responsible to perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to cover all trades including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic tube, painting,
• carpentry and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
• Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily
• within the craft lines.
• May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
