Shaw Industries Group Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to ensure production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

This mid-level role emphasizes maintaining critical machinery, reducing downtime, and supporting consistent product quality. You will work in a collaborative team, applying technical expertise while further developing advanced maintenance and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Experience strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Safety: Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, PPE usage, hot work, PIT, fall protection and hoisting.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and precision instruments; able to document work in CMMS.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and create simple sketches or notes.
• Strong problem-solving, math, measurements and conversions in maintenance tasks.
• Preferred: electrical troubleshooting, theory, welding/machining or advanced diagnostics; 3 years in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment to keep production running smoothly.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, communicating findings and corrective actions to maintenance and operations teams.
• Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) and participate in Predictive Maintenance (PdM) activities using condition-monitoring tools.
• Contribute to projects, upgrades, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor junior technicians, supporting continuous learning.
