The ideal candidate applies hands-on expertise, performs preventive and predictive maintenance, and mentors junior technicians while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is on-site in Dalton, GA.

Qualifications

Strong background in industrial maintenance and safe work practices.
Experience reading mechanical drawings and applying basic electrical knowledge.
PM and PdM concepts including lubrication, vibration analysis, and fault diagnosis.
Ability to mentor entry-level technicians and document work processes.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
Maintain mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, pulleys, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
Service conveyance systems, piping, and utilities (steam, air, water).
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure reliable operation and reduced downtime.
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues affecting safety, quality, and production.
Identify root causes of mechanical failures and communicate corrective actions.
Execute repairs efficiently and document findings and actions.
