Job summary

Foshee Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for one of our apartment communities in Decatur, Alabama. The role involves hands-on maintenance, basic painting, and assisting with preventative tasks to keep the community running smoothly.

You will handle general repairs, appliance knowledge, and customer service while following safety rules and working with a team. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic hand tool and power tool knowledge.
• Basic painting skills.
• Basic knowledge of appliances.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable responding to after-hours service calls.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs.
• Basic painting.
• A/C drain line inspection and clearing.
• Minor drywall repairs, carpentry work.
• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Help maintain curb appeal and overall community appearance.
• Follow OSHA and safety regulations.
• Provide strong customer service when interacting with community members.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and additional tasks as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour; $1000.00 sign on bonus.
