Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Certificate from a vocational school in maintenance technology preferred.
• 2–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production machines per manuals and specs.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using measuring tools.
• Remove and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes and hand/power tools.
• Inspect parts dimensions with calipers, micrometers and other instruments.
• Maintain inventories of parts and supplies; document maintenance activities.
• Contribute to safety and housekeeping in the work area.
