Job summary

Pridgeon and Clay Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician Tier 2 to support production by servicing and repairing metal stamping and related equipment.

The role demands strong wiring, PLC, and welding skills, plus the ability to read complex drawings and train junior technicians. The candidate must have an Associate degree or equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology, with a track record of reliability, safety compliance, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance Technology or similar.
• Ability to train and mentor Maintenance Technician trainees.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic expertise to production teams.
• Read drawings, blueprints, schematics, and manuals to install, modify, or repair equipment.
• Operate lathes, mills, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding and oxy-acetylene welding as needed.
• Start/restart equipment after modifications to ensure optimal operation.
