Job summary
Pridgeon And Clay in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician Tier 2 to resolve equipment issues and maximize uptime on stamping lines.
You will read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, perform MIG/TIG welding, maintain machines, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or equivalent program.
- Experience repairing metal stamping equipment and welding equipment.
- Ability to train and mentor trainees in a team setting.
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical mechanical/electrical expertise to production teams.
- Install, modify and repair machines per schematics and manuals.
- Read hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Perform MIG/TIG welding to install and repair parts.
- Start and test machines after repairs to ensure operation.
- Support lean initiatives and maintain safety/compliance.
