Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, read drawings, and support lubrication, welding, and fabrication as needed.

The role requires two years in industrial maintenance or related certificates with a HS diploma or GED, with associate degree preferred. You may work flexible shifts and participate in safety trainings.

Qualifications

Two (2) years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/controls, with basic welding/fabrication skills.
Military experience considered.
In lieu of experience, an associate degree or related certificates may be considered equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and diagnose to determine needed repairs.
Adhere to safety standards and participate in trainings.
Enter and retrieve data using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
May perform smaller projects and support on-call or flexible scheduling.
