Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at Longwood Vista, a 280-unit community in Atlanta, GA. You will perform daily maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, and prepare vacant apartments for new residents, contributing to safety, cleanliness and curb appeal.

The role includes on-call rotation, collaboration with vendors, and adherence to Fairfield policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Minimum one year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using the Make Ready Checklist.
• Maintain the exterior of the property and pool areas.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inspections of common area systems.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.
• Report inventory needs and potential liabilities.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and assist with resident notices.
