Job summary

Sares Regis Group Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our San Diego community. You will service 970 units, handle turnover/renovation work, and address maintenance requests across interiors and exteriors, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Must be able to read work orders, adhere to safety rules, and work weekends. Compensation includes 401(k) match, incentives, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.)
• Knowledge and skill in performing quality work; able to use required tools and machinery; professional interaction with co-workers, residents and vendors; OSHA requirements knowledge; MSDS knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders and documents; communicate with employees, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• High school diploma or GED, technical school, or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service skills a must!
• Work weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Turnover and renovate units; respond to maintenance service requests.
• Perform external and internal repairs: drywall, painting, fences, plumbing, appliances, boilers, HVAC, and common areas.
• Participate in emergency and after-hours coverage as scheduled.
