Sares Regis Group Residential in Newport Beach, CA, seeks a Maintenance Technician I for a 254-unit community in Oakland. The role covers turnover/renovation units, routine maintenance, and after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances).
• Knowledge and skill in performing quality work; able to use required tools and machinery; interacts with coworkers, residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Works on turnover and renovation units and responds to maintenance service requests.
• Performs external and internal repairs including drywall, painting, plumbing, appliances, boilers and HVAC, and common area cleanup.
• Sets up and operates machine tools to repair or fabricate parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
• Fabricates and repairs cabinets, counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Maintains inventory and related paperwork; keeps storage facilities and equipment orderly.
