Related Affordable in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to ensure our buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and inviting for residents. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, while upholding high standards for quality and safety.

You will mentor junior staff and participate in on-call emergency maintenance as needed, contributing to a thriving community.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
Affordable housing experience is a plus.
Schedule flexibility including weekends to meet property maintenance demands.
Participation in emergency on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure needs are met.
Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
Assist in emergency repairs and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and report shortages.
Other duties as assigned.
