Job summary

JES Holdings, Fairway Management division (FWM), seeks a Maintenance Technician II for Conners Senior Village in Villa Rica, GA. This full-time, 8am–5pm role handles unit turns, preventative maintenance, and resident work orders with attention to safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in multifamily or commercial maintenance and strong skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems.
• REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of completing unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit make readies including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered and insured vehicle.
• Report to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for delegated tasks.
• Travel to regional and corporate training or conferences as required.
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Notify manager of any health and safety concerns on site.
• Willing to work overtime as needed and approved.
• Eager to train and learn company systems, HVAC safety, and HUD/LIHTC maintenance standards.
