Job summary

JES Holdings in Eatonton, GA is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for Lakeside properties. The role is full-time, 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, focused on upkeep, repairs, and resident service across multifamily communities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in maintenance, strong skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems, with REAC/INSPIRE prep knowledge. Overtime may be required and training available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel settings with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting and building operating systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of completing unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit make-readies with painting, carpet cleaning and general unit cleaning.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Willing to assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Able to pick up supplies from area vendors while legally operating a registered and insured vehicle.
• Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for delegated tasks.
• Travel to regional and corporate trainings as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Make the manager aware of health and safety concerns on site.
• Willing to work overtime as needed and approved.
• Eager to train in HUD and LIHTC maintenance standards.
