Job summary

Trane Technologies in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to lead preventive maintenance across production and facility equipment. The role focuses on avoiding downtime and solving quality and production issues with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement. The position runs on a 6:00 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m. schedule, on-site at the Charlotte facility, with benefits starting on DAY ONE and a $150 safety shoe allowance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in general mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technology.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical wiring and power systems.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a group setting.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facilities equipment.
• Source repair/replacement parts and equipment.
• Assist in planning and installation of new equipment and improvements to the facility.
• Communicate with contractors, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers to support operation, service, and repair.
• Attend safety training and adhere to safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in safety programs.
• Maintain equipment service records and documentation.
