Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support equipment implementation and 5S in production settings.

Labor Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician II who's responsible for building, repairing, and overhauling high-speed manufacturing equipment, jigs, and fixtures. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and manufacturing leadership to ensure smooth plant operations, complete preventative maintenance, and support new equipment implementations.

Hours: 1st shift

Pay: $24-26 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair mechanical operations on manufacturing equipment.
• Reassemble machinery and ensure it is fully operational following repair or maintenance tasks.
• Partner with the design team and engineers to safely install, replace, or modify machines according to technical specifications.
• Execute routine scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and properly record/file all necessary documentation.
• Perform rebuilding and overhaul work using blueprints, manufacturing manuals, and technical specifications.
• Support production environments during equipment implementation, including applying 5S standards and assisting with workplace clean-up.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations, including lockout-tagout (LOTO) protocols and routine safety audit checklists.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking and stocking materials needed for general production and building maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a 2-year technical degree, 3 years in a trades industry, or 2 years of industrial maintenance experience is highly .
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in high-speed manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, rulers, and technical specifications.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities and the capacity to learn new manufacturing technologies.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance for occasional offsite tasks.
• Strong track record of regular attendance, punctuality, and reliability.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to frequently perform physical labor, including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift and exert force from 25 up to 75 pounds frequently, and push/pull up to 300 pounds.
• Excellent manual dexterity and close/distance vision for precision work.
• Must be able to pass a physical requirement and fit test to wear a respirator.
• Primary work is performed in an active manufacturing facility environment.
