Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Des Moines, IA area site. This role focuses on building, repairing, and overhauling high-speed manufacturing equipment, jigs, and fixtures, in collaboration with engineering and production leadership.

The position requires 2+ years in maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent (with a 2-year technical degree preferred), and the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, rulers, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical operations on manufacturing equipment.
• Reassemble machinery and ensure full operation after maintenance.
• Install, replace, or modify machines with engineering teams per specs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and document records.
• Support equipment implementation and 5S in production settings.
• Maintain safety遵守 with LOTO protocols and safety checklists.
• Assist with inventory and material stocking for maintenance needs.
