Job summary

Joyce/Dayton Corp. in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to service and repair buildings and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting or plastering as needed.

This is a non-exempt hourly role reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The position requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, forklift operation, crane experience, and strong problem-solving abilities to support production and ensure safety and

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 7 years of proven mechanical experience.
• 2-year technical or related degree preferred and/or 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of prior maintenance experience
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• A strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and machine concepts.
• Ability to grasp current technology quickly.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Proven mechanical, electrical, hydraulic knowledge.
• Stick weld and torch knowledge and ability.
• Proven forklift and crane experience.
• Proven blueprint reading ability.
• Own all necessary or required tools.
• Proven trouble shooting capabilities.
• Technical training as required.
• Proven pneumatic experience.
• Must be a self starter and require minimal direction.
