Rivers Landing apartments in Hampton, VA seeks a Maintenance Technician II to lead repairs, preventive maintenance, and building operations for our apartment community. This mid‑level role rewards hands-on problem solving and pride in safe, high‑quality living environments. Requirements include 2+ years in general or apartment maintenance with strong HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge.

CPO and EPA Universal preferred (or ability to obtain). Must be able to lift 100 lbs and work on-call.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in apartments or similar environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• CPO and EPA Universal preferred, or ability to obtain.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work on-call.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry.
• Lead unit turns, preventive maintenance, and common area upkeep.
• Support pool maintenance and safety protocols (CPO preferred).
• Maintain tools, supplies, and grounds to PRG standards.
• Handle emergency on-call rotations as scheduled.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot building systems.
• Track inventory and elevate major repair needs.
