Job summary

BeMore Staffing in Richmond, VA is seeking a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician for a temporary-to-permanent role at a residential community. You will perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs, respond to resident requests, and prepare units for turnover to ensure high standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of hands-on apartment maintenance or similar experience.
• Proven ability to perform unit make-ready, repair, and basic groundskeeping tasks.
• EPA certification (Type 1, 2, 3, Universal or equivalent) required or pending.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to site.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance duties across electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry and painting projects.
• Restore and maintain structural components including fixtures, cabinetry, doors, walls and exterior elements.
• Provide superior customer service to residents, clients and colleagues; address inquiries and concerns.
• Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee unit turnover preparations to meet standards before new move-ins.
• Implement and manage annual preventative maintenance schedules.
• Conduct grounds upkeep: debris removal, sweeping, light landscaping.
• Support management with special projects and ad-hoc assignments.
