Job summary

LEGO Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II in Virginia to maintain production equipment and support operations. You will work independently, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement with engineers and technicians.

The role offers a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, night shift differential, and starting pay of $31.45 per hour, with weekly pay. Travel for training may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and documenting work orders.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and standard computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision.
• Support and execute equipment changeovers and line setups.
• Identify equipment issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
• Accurately document maintenance work, downtime, and repairs in CMMS systems.
• Follow and continuously improve standard work procedures and maintenance practices.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and engineers to resolve equipment issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
• Assist in training and mentoring Maintenance Technician I team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and actively support safety initiatives.
