Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our operations team. You will independently perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and support efficient line changeovers to keep lines running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and documenting work orders.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable operation of production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Support equipment changeovers and line setups.
• Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Document maintenance work, downtime, and repairs in CMMS.
• Follow and improve standard work procedures and maintenance practices.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and engineers on issues.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen).
• Assist in training Maintenance Technician I team members.
