Job summary

The LEGO Group in Virginia will hire an experienced maintenance technician to keep automated production equipment running. You will perform preventive, predictive, condition-based and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and HMIs, and document actions in the CMMS.

You will participate in RCA/PDCA, support installation and startup activities, mentor teammates, and uphold safety standards including LOTO. Expect 12-hour shifts with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in a related field.
• Experience maintaining automated industrial equipment in manufacturing or logistics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and equipment documentation.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to three weeks annually.
• Must meet safety certifications (LOTO, CPR, First Aid).
• Willingness to work 12-hour day/night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance on automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, robotics, and automation systems.
• Diagnose issues using PLC software, HMIs, networks, schematics and manufacturer docs.
• Optimize settings to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Document maintenance actions in the CMMS and report outcomes.
• Support installation, commissioning, testing and startup activities.
