Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Pomona, CA to diagnose, repair, and maintain apartment homes, ensuring residents enjoy a high quality living experience.

You will tackle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safety tasks, while ensuring timely completion of service requests and keeping units rent-ready. Collaboration with teams and residents is essential, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation with the team.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents to provide customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures including safety and maintenance SOPs.
• Knowledge of PPE and how to use properly.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, locations and sequences of operations.
• Knowledge of paint types and painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and other systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs in a timely manner per standards.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture by following Vivmark policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
