Job summary
Dollar Tree Distribution Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the reliability of material handling and building systems. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting PLCs, servo/VFD drives, and electrical networks to minimize downtime.
You will work Thursday–Saturday nights, 4:30pm–5:00am, and collaborate with teammates to ensure safety and equipment uptime.
Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology plus 2 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology or 3 years in similar role.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment.
- PLC/PC program knowledge with troubleshooting experience.
- Industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on conveyors, material handling equipment, lift trucks, dock equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic issues involving PLCs, motor drives, networks, and external I/O devices.
- Diagnose electrical problems using blueprints and schematics; use diagnostic tools like multi-meters and laptops.
- Complete work orders, logs, and documentation; maintain safety and high quality workmanship.
