United Methodist Communities in Ocean City, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Associate II to perform general building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and repair projects. This full-time role offers an hourly wage of $17.49-$18.65, based on experience, with a schedule Monday-Friday and weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and repair projects.
Respond to and complete maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Support preventative maintenance programs to help ensure equipment and building systems remain in good working condition.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and preventative maintenance documentation.
Assist with ordering, organizing, and managing maintenance tools, supplies, and materials.
Update and close work orders in the maintenance management system, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and team members.
