Job summary
Borden Dairy is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to uphold and improve our production line equipment at our facilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, timely diagnostics, and reliable repairs to minimize downtime.
You will work within a team environment to support continuous improvement across processes. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with plant equipment, PLC systems, and a strong commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three years of related experience and/or training in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Moderate knowledge of and/or experience with PLC systems.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; capable of basic math and data recording.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on production and manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to meet performance standards.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify and support process improvements.
- Comply with all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Use PPE in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Possess and maintain personal tools needed to perform duties.
