Job summary

Proliant Dairy Ingredients is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain and improve plant equipment in a fast-paced dairy production setting. The role emphasizes electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safety.

You must have an associate degree in related field and strong knowledge of 480V systems, PLC troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics. This is a hands-on position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Experience with 120V/240V/480V systems and reading electrical schematics.
• Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated equipment is desired.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and production systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including 3-phase power.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and utilities.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, drives, pumps, valves, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Support automation and control systems troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Assist with facility maintenance and equipment improvements.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Follow food safety, quality, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
