Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Affordable housing experience is a plus.
• Able to participate in emergency on-call rotation.
• Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Willing to accept feedback and improve continuously.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately.
• Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
• Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
• Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
• Other duties as assigned
