Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Affordable housing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed.
• Demonstrates accountability and reliability with attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• Willingness to embrace feedback and continuous improvement.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration values.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues.
• Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
• Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
• Assist in emergency repairs and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report shortages.
• Other duties as assigned
