Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is seeking a Maintenance II to perform routine maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment at our Youth Camp. The position reports to the Camp Director and is eligible for overtime pay.

The candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED and a valid Florida Class B CDL with passenger endorsement. The role entails a range of repair tasks, records upkeep, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid Florida Class B CDL with passenger endorsement driver’s license is required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds in attractive, functional condition.
• Prioritizes and completes maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
• Keeps Aquatic Facility Operators license current and maintains required records.
• Maintains grounds including mowing, trimming, cleaning walkways, gardening, and keeping facilities tidy.
• Completes vehicle reports and building inspections accurately; processes maintenance requests.
