Smurfit Westrock in Seward, NE is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift (M-F; 10:30 pm - 7:00 am). You will ensure production machinery runs smoothly, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and boiler systems.

Reading blueprints and welding are required, with cross-training across maintenance areas encouraged. The role requires 2–3 years of electrical troubleshooting, 1 year of mechanical troubleshooting, and the ability to lift 50–100

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 years of electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• At least 1 year of mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints.
• Welding and ability to operate small machinery.
• Able to cross-train in other maintenance areas.

Responsabilités

• Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
• Read blueprints and assist with equipment installation.
• Work with steam and boiler controls and drive systems.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and inventory records.
• Participate in Safety Reviews and Training.
