Qualifications

The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to provide maintenance support to our plant operations to enable us to meet our quality standards and safety codes and ensure we are executing our maintenance programs. The Technician must identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems (mechanical, electrical, etc.), run tests, isolate problems, remove/replace failed components, determine failure modes by studying worn components, and perform other tasks as required. What You’ll Do for Us
  1. Perform skilled maintenance and repair of facility or/and production plant systems such as mechanical, electrical, building, or/and production line systems.
  2. Plan and conduct building repairs including outdoor lighting, doors, drywall, and ceiling tiles.
  3. Install insulation and plastic coverings on product lines and piping, perform light plumbing and repairs.
  4. Implement facility preventative maintenance programs as directed.
  5. Plan and perform all facilities build-outs, including framing, hanging and finishing sheetrock, concrete work, floor installation and repair, drop ceiling installation, paneling, roof repairs, changing lights/ballasts, minor electrical wiring/repairs, and inspection of electrical panels.
  6. Perform building maintenance and troubleshooting to meet or exceed plant and departmental goals while ensuring tasks are completed safely to achieve quality, service, GMP, and cost objectives.
  7. Comply with all SOPs and requirements under CCR Quality System.
  8. Manage contractor needs and activities as directed by management.
  9. Complete lift training courses and operate forklifts and high-reach safely.
  10. Collaborate with facilities maintenance personnel and vendors/contractors, generate purchase requisitions as needed.
  11. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track all work.
  12. Troubleshoot and maintain production lines and batching/processing equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
  1. High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s or technical degree is preferred.
  2. Must pass the Maintenance Technician test at the tech 1 level.
  3. 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience with diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills.
  4. Working knowledge of PLC, mechanical, electrical, lubrication, fabrication, pneumatic, and hydraulics.
  5. Must supply own tools.
  6. Welding experience preferred.
  7. Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  8. Valid driver’s license and experience operating industrial equipment like forklifts.
  9. Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets and maintenance documentation.
  10. Proficiency with computer software such as CMMS “Maximo”.
  11. Certification on JPM within six months of start; certifications like CARO and CIRO are required.
  12. Ability to work various shifts, including overtime and extended hours.
