Qualifications

Job Description Summary:

The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to provide maintenance support to our plant operations, ensuring we meet our quality standards and safety codes while executing our maintenance programs. The Technician must identify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and other issues, run tests, isolate problems, replace failed components, study worn components to determine failure modes, and perform other related tasks. This role is ideal for someone with maintenance experience looking to work for one of the world's most admired companies.

What You’ll Do for Us
  1. Perform skilled maintenance and repairs on facility or production plant systems, including mechanical, electrical, and building or production line systems. Conduct building repairs such as outdoor lighting, doors, drywall, and ceiling tiles. Install insulation and plastic coverings on product lines and piping. Perform light plumbing and repairs. Execute facility preventative maintenance programs as directed.
  2. Plan and perform all facilities build-outs, including framing, drywall hanging and finishing, concrete work, floor installation and repair, drop ceiling installation, paneling, roof repairs, lighting/ballast changes, minor electrical wiring/repairs, and electrical panel inspections.
  3. Maintain and troubleshoot building systems to meet or exceed plant and departmental goals, ensuring safety and compliance with Quality, Service, GMP, and Cost objectives.
  4. Follow all standard operating procedures and CCR Quality System requirements.
  5. Manage contractor activities and needs as directed by management.
  6. Complete lift training courses and operate forklifts and high-reach equipment safely.
  7. Coordinate with facilities maintenance personnel and vendors/contractors to complete tasks and generate purchase requisitions as needed.
  8. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track all work.
  9. Troubleshoot and maintain production lines and batching/processing equipment.
Qualification & Requirements
  1. High school diploma or GED required; an associate or technical degree is preferred.
  2. Must pass the Maintenance Technician test at the tech 1 level.
  3. 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  4. Working knowledge of PLCs, mechanical, electrical, lubrication, fabrication, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  5. Own hand tools required.
  6. Welding experience preferred.
  7. Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  8. Valid driver’s license and experience operating industrial equipment like forklifts.
  9. Ability to understand Safety Data Sheets and maintenance documentation.
  10. Proficiency with computer software such as CMMS “Maximo”.
  11. Certification on JPM within six months of start date. Certifications required include CARO and CIRO through RETA.
  12. Ability to work various shifts, including overtime and extended hours.

Skills & Pay Range

Pay Range: $61,000 - $70,000

Base pay varies by location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Benefits include medical, financial, and other options.
