Primary Role
The Maintenance Technician provides maintenance support to plant operations, ensuring quality standards and safety codes are met, and maintenance programs are executed effectively. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, testing, component replacement, and failure analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled maintenance and repairs on facility and production systems, including mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Conduct building repairs such as lighting, doors, drywall, and ceiling tiles; install insulation and piping; perform light plumbing.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage facility build-outs, including framing, drywall, concrete work, flooring, roofing, electrical wiring, and inspections.
- Ensure maintenance tasks meet safety, quality, GMP, and cost objectives.
- Follow SOPs and CCR Quality System requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and track activities as directed.
- Complete forklift and high-reach lift training; operate equipment safely.
- Work with vendors and generate purchase requisitions.
- Utilize CMMS (Maximo) for work tracking.
- Troubleshoot and maintain production and batching equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
- 3-5 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of PLCs, mechanical, electrical, lubrication, fabrication, pneumatic, and hydraulics.
- Own hand tools required; welding experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license; experience operating industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets and maintenance documentation.
- Proficient with computer software, including CMMS (Maximo).
- Certification on JPM within six months; required certifications include CARO and CIRO through RETA.
- Flexible to work various shifts, including overtime and extended hours.

Pay Range: $61,000 - $70,000. Actual offer may vary based on location, skills, and experience. Benefits include medical, financial, and other perks.
