The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to provide maintenance support to our plant operations to meet quality standards and safety codes, and to ensure the execution of our maintenance programs. The Technician must identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems (mechanical, electrical, etc.), run tests, isolate issues, replace failed components, study worn parts to determine failure modes, and perform other duties as required. This role is ideal for someone with maintenance experience who wants to work for one of the world's most admired companies.

What You’ll Do for Us
  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair of facility and production systems, including mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Plan and conduct building repairs such as outdoor lighting, doors, drywall, and ceiling tiles.
  • Install insulation and plastic coverings on product lines and piping; perform light plumbing and repairs.
  • Implement facility preventative maintenance programs as directed.
  • Plan and execute all facility build-outs, including framing, drywall, concrete work, flooring, ceiling installation, roofing repairs, electrical wiring, and inspections.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot building systems to meet or exceed departmental goals while ensuring safety and compliance with GMP and quality standards.
  • Follow all SOPs and CCR Quality System requirements.
  • Manage contractor activities and track needs as directed by management.
  • Complete lift training and operate forklifts and reach trucks safely.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel and vendors; generate purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Utilize CMMS (Maximo) to track work orders and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain production lines and processing equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; an associates or technical degree is preferred.
  • Ability to pass the Maintenance Technician test at level 1.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, mechanical, electrical, lubrication, fabrication, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Own hand tools required.
  • Welding experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and experience operating industrial equipment like forklifts.
  • Understanding of Safety Data Sheets and maintenance documentation.
  • Proficiency with computer software, including CMMS.
  • Certification on JPM within six months of start; certifications in Refrigeration Operations (RETA) preferred.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including overtime and extended hours as needed.
