Senior Recruitment Consultant at Intelletec, USA

Overview:

A successful and stable NETA accredited company are looking to grow their local team in Atlanta GA. They work on data centers and substations all within a 30 min drive of Atlanta so their technicians are home every night.

You’ll work under the guidance of a highly experienced Regional Director and alongside a team of NETA and NICET-certified professionals to ensure critical power infrastructure is safe, reliable, and fully operational across construction, maintenance, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning testing on low- and medium-voltage systems (480V to 15kV).
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, battery banks, PDUs, and grounding systems.
  • Document all test results in accordance with industry standards (NETA, ANSI, IEEE, NFPA 70E).
  • Collaborate with senior technicians, commissioning agents, and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
  • Assist in identifying equipment issues and performing corrective actions as needed.
  • Follow all OSHA and NFPA 70E safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE on all sites.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions as part of continuous development.

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or field service.
  • Active or pursuing NETA Level II or NICET Level II+ certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems, power system components, and testing equipment (e.g., Doble, Omicron, Megger).
  • Comfortable working in high-risk, mission-critical environments such as data centers.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and documentation.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
