Job summary

Dollar Tree in Odessa, Texas is seeking a maintenance technician for our fast-paced, automated distribution center. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting of conveyors and electrical/controls systems.

You will perform repairs on lift trucks, PLCs, servo drives, diagnostics with meters and laptops, and support fellow technicians. Shift Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm; starting pay $27.50 per hour; full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires coursework or certification in electronic technology or equivalent.
• 2 years industrial maintenance in electronic tech OR 3 years in industrial maintenance with troubleshooting.
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Industrial electrical hands-on experience (480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC).
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (lift trucks, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, dock equipment).
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic problems (PLCs, servo drives, VFDs, I/O).
• Diagnose via schematics and diagnostic tools and document findings.
• Assist teammates and implement new procedures for 100% equipment efficiency.
• Maintain organized work area and promote safety in the maintenance department.
• Operate material handling and battery equipment as needed.
