Job summary

Dollar Tree’s Distribution Center in Cowpens, SC seeks a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair conveyors, building systems, and electrical controls.

You will diagnose problems, operate material handling equipment, and document work orders while maintaining safety and quality standards. Shift: Sat-Sun 7:00a-7:30p plus two 8-hour days; full-time role with overtime availability.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology with 2+ years in industrial maintenance or 3+ years in electronic tech (incl. troubleshooting automated equipment)
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on industrial electrical experience (480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC)
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to leadership
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on conveyors and equipment
• Diagnose electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools
• Operate material handling equipment safely
• Complete work orders and document records
• Communicate issues to associates, leadership, and suppliers
• Maintain organized and safe maintenance area
