Job summary

Systems, LLC., an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, seeks a maintenance technician in Malvern, AR to perform facility upkeep and repair industrial equipment including welding robots, hoists, and cranes.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance and experience with electrical/mechanical trades and PLC programming. The position offers a pay range of $18.41–$28.62 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k). Recruiting@Chamberlain.com

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining industrial equipment.
  • 1+ years of electrical or mechanical trades training.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform facility and building maintenance including plumbing, mechanical tasks, painting, landscaping, and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain and repair industrial equipment such as welding robots, hoists, lift tables, cranes, and paint booths.
  • Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures to ensure safe work practices.
  • Dismantle machinery and replace defective parts as needed.
  • Log service work and downtime, and track equipment service requests.
  • Apply Lean and 5S principles to maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose issues and reprogram PLCs as needed.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and hoists; maintain safety certifications.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and protect confidential information.

We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform facility and building maintenance including: plumbing, mechanical, facility painting, landscaping, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventive and predictive facility maintenancePerform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots, fabrication equipment, hoists, lift tables, cranes, paint booths, etcFollows lock-out and tag-out procedures as needed to ensure safe work practicesDismantle machinery and replace defective parts as neededLog all service work performed, recording downtime during repair and accounting for equipment service requestsPerform Lean and 5S functions related to maintenanceTroubleshoot, program, re-program, and edit programmable logic controllers as neededDrive a forklift and maintain necessary certificationOperate cranes and hoists.Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Minimum QualificationsNo minimum education required3+ years experience of industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining industrial equipment1+ years of electrical or mechanical trades trainingFamiliarity with safety standards and regulationsWorking knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipmentWorking knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and othermanufacturing equipmentAbility to complete company safety training related to electrical safetyAbility to use of aerial lifts and lift trucksWorking knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVACAbility to identify issues and repairs that are neededPreferred QualificationsAssociates degree in Industrial MaintenanceElectrical experience.HVAC experience.Welding and fabrication experience.#INDMFG1The pay range for this position is $18.41 - $28.62/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
