Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and maintaining industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing machines.
  • Ability to identify issues and repairs that are needed.
  • Knowledge in computers and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust programming and calibration on automation equipment to maximize runtimes.
  • Support production needs and complete equipment corrective work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment failures.
  • Mentor and train operators and maintenance technicians on automation equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on robotic systems at set intervals.
  • Conduct equipment automation failure analysis and determine root causes.
  • Troubleshoot basic errors of robots and resolve.
  • Assist in repair and maintenance of robotic weld equipment.
  • Create preventive maintenance checklists to improve equipment usage.
  • Utilize maintenance management system to record work history and parts usage.

A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Develop programming and perform calibration on automation equipment, maximizing equipment runtimes, and (ii) Support production needs, ensure completion of all equipment corrective work orders, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment failures. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in descending order of percentage of time required)Adjust programming and perform calibration on automation equipment, maximizing equipment runtimes.Support production needs, ensure completion of all equipment corrective work orders, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment failures.Mentor and train operators and maintenance technicians on use of automation equipmentPerform preventative maintenance procedures on robotic systems at set intervals.Conduct equipment automation failure analysis, determine failure root causes.Troubleshoot basic errors of robots and resolve.Perform and assist in the repair and maintenance of robotic weld equipment.Assist in creating preventive maintenance work orders checklists to improve and maximize overall equipment usage.Assist other technicians doing preventive maintenance on complex equipment.Utilize maintenance management system to perform work (e.g. record work history, identify parts usage) in a timely and effective manner.Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.Supervision Exercised (this section should be filled out when an employee has supervisory responsibilities)Minimum Qualifications (requirements necessary to perform listed duties and responsibilities)Education/Certifications:No minimum education requiredExperience:2+ years experience of industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining industrial equipmentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Familiarity with safety standards and regulationsWorking knowledge of manufacturing machines.Ability to identify issues and repairs that are neededKnowledge in computers and basic software applications.Other:Preferred QualificationsEducation/Certifications:Experience: PREFERRED: CNC or robotic programming experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Microsoft applications i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, AccessOther:The pay range for this position is $18.41 - $28.62/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
