Job summary

The Hershey Company Memphis plant is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to maintain and optimize high-speed manufacturing equipment. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance in a state-of-the-art facility, with opportunities for overtime and a manufacturing incentive plan.

Qualified applicants will undergo mechanical, written, and hands-on assessments, with post-offer drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available to work second or third shift and overtime.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Journeyman's card from a state-approved apprenticeship or 5–7 years hands-on electrical/mechanical experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of basic electricity and electronics.
• Follow National Electrical Code and NFPA 70-E guidelines.
• Plan layout of electrical wiring and fixtures per specs and codes.
• Install electrical conduits, switches, outlets, relays, and panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors and production machines.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and parts and place orders as needed.
