Job summary

The Hershey Company Memphis plant is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to maintain and optimize high‑speed manufacturing equipment. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure equipment reliability in a non‑union plant environment.

The role requires flexibility for various shifts, overtime, and weekend work. Qualified applicants will complete mechanical, written, and hands‑on assessments, followed by an onsite interview.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in the United States.
• Journeyman's card or 5-7 years hands-on electrical/mechanical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Able to pass written and hands-on mechanical NOCTI and background checks.
• Strong electrical and mechanical understanding with safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and machines.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair components like transformers and controllers.
• Read blueprints and schematics; ensure electrical safety and code compliance.
• Coordinate with operations for downtime reduction and parts inventory.
