Job summary

ITU AbsorbTech in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team. You will repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery and support electrical, boiler, pump and hydraulics systems.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Facilities Maintenance and 3–5 years’ related experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Scheduling is 2nd shift; benefits include medical plans and 401(k).

Job description

ITU AbsorbTech is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join our team in New Berlin, WI.

In this role, you will:

• Repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery
• Work with electrical, boilers, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and other production machines and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical devices
• Work from blueprints, electrical schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer's specification
• Perform general maintenance operations

Driving Requirement: A valid driver's license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check are required for this position.

Pay: $32-$33.48 an hour, based on experience.

2nd Shift Schedule: 5:30am-1:30pm; Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends as needed.

Education and Experience:

Associate’s degree in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 3-5 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair, including troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical and equipment issues, is required.
