Job summary

ITU AbsorbTech in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team. You will repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery, work with electrical systems, boilers, pumps, and other production equipment, and troubleshoot mechanical devices.

You will read blueprints and schematics and perform general maintenance in a 2nd shift environment with occasional weekends. A valid driver’s license is required and MVR must pass. Pay ranges by experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 35 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair, including troubleshooting and diagnosis.
• Associate’s degree (or current enrollment in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 1-3 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair is required; or equivalent in related experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

ITU AbsorbTech is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join our team in New Berlin, WI.

In this role, you will:

• Repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery
• Work with electrical, boilers, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and other production machines and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical devices
• Work from blueprints, electrical schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer’s specification
• Perform general maintenance operations

A valid driver’s license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check are required for this position.

Pay: $32-$33.48 an hour, based on experience.

2nd Shift Schedule:
5:30am-1:30pm; Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 35 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair, including troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical and equipment issues, is required.

Associate’s degree (or current enrollment in a technical school) in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 1-3 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair is required; or equivalent in related experience.
