Job summary

ITU AbsorbTech in New Berlin, WI seeks a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery and support production equipment. The successful candidate will read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot components, and perform general maintenance tasks on site.

Requirements include 1–3 years in maintenance or repair, an associate’s degree or current enrollment in a related program, a valid MVR, and a positive attitude. Shift runs 2:30 PM–9:30 PM with weekends as needed.

• Associate’s degree or enrollment in a technical program in Facilities Maintenance or related field.
• 1–3 years of maintenance or mechanical repair experience.
• Detail‑oriented, dependable, and possessing a positive attitude.

About the Position

Maintenance Technician at ITU AbsorbTech, based in New Berlin, WI.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical devices.
• Consult blueprints, electrical schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform general maintenance operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Associate’s degree (or current enrollment in a technical school) in Facilities Maintenance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance or mechanical repair.
• Detail‑oriented, dependable, and possessing a positive attitude.

Schedule & Compensation

2nd Shift, 1:30 pm–9:30 pm, Monday–Friday; occasional weekends as needed.

Pay: $24–$28 per hour, based on experience.
