Job summary

Casa de las Campanas in California is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical trades. The role requires reading blueprints and supporting on-site operations, with on-call responsibilities including some weekend and night work.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of commercial maintenance experience, knowledge of mechanical equipment and HVAC systems, and a valid CA driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years' experience in commercial maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and HVAC systems.
• Intermediate experience in various trades required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled preventative maintenance in mechanical and plumbing.
• Performs skilled building and equipment repairs.
• Performs basic skilled maintenance duties in drywall, carpentry, electrical, locksmith, low voltage (fire, security), and appliance repair.
• Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.
• Prioritizes all work in the order set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Participates in all drills and in-service meetings, as assigned.
• Participates in the 24-hour on-call program to including occasional weekend and night work.
• Participates in emergency drills and acts as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician II must be able to perform basic maintenance in most trades and demonstrate specialized skill in mechanical and plumbing preventative maintenance. This is a journey-level position.
