Job summary

Highmark Residential in Plano, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties across our apartment community. You will assist the Service Manager and help maintain the community to ensure resident satisfaction.

We value punctuality, dependability and a self-starting attitude. Requirements include at least one year of apartment maintenance experience and a valid A/C Certification Type II or Universal.

Qualifications

• One year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule & on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community.
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy.
• Assists with resident functions.
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program.
