Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Congress Park community to perform a wide range of maintenance duties, including appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical tasks. You will support the Service Manager and help manage the community’s maintenance programs.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of apartment maintenance experience, hold an A/C Type II or Universal certification, and possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• One year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to automated service on emergency calls per company policy.
• Assist with resident functions.
• Participate in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program.
