Job summary
Hawthorne Residential Partners in Southern Pines, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support daily community upkeep, including cleaning, grounds maintenance, and preparing apartments for move-ins. The position operates Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with potential on-call duties. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required; prior maintenance experience is welcome but
Qualifications
- Maintenance and general facility upkeep responsibilities.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety across the property.
- Ability to perform light repairs and assist with maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Clean and pick up debris across the property per standards.
- Maintain breezeways, sidewalks, and common areas; pressure wash as needed.
- Assist with apartment make-readies and light repairs for new move-ins.
- Replace light bulbs and perform minor fixture replacements.
- Support pool, gym, mailroom, and clubhouse areas; maintain inventory in the shop.
